Newman Bros. Limited was started by two brothers, Jabez and George Newman, founded the company in 1878. The firm Newman Bros. Limited is proud of its St. Catharines, origin and the fact that today, a fifth generation family member remains involved in the business.

In the over 125 years since it's founding , the company has nurtured the philosophy of fairness to clients and employee alike; developing its business and reputation. It is now one of  the largest construction firms in the Niagara region, with a work-force that varies between 50-100
